I am somewhat shocked that the device drivers would not be the same between all these different distros. It should support this device.

Hi Antonio, Aeapter you’ll see from the kernel-team mailing list thread we’re going to backport this to the main Jaunty kernel package rather than via linux-backports -modules. Hi Antonio, It seems the atl1c driver is only available in the Karmic release at the moment. I’m working on backporting this to Jaunty via the linux-backports -modules- 2.
